Generally we turn out in 2 groups--the
older, more dominant horses together and the younger, more timid ones
together. Of course when we get a new horse, we turn it out alone a few
times and
then slowly [one horse at a time] introduce it to one of the
pasturemate
groups. It is always a tribute to the majesty of the horse, watching
them
trot, gallop, and play when they are in an exuberant mood.
